The trend now a days are fast and junk foods. We can never encourage our kids to eat this kind of food. But let us make it a habit.
When I was in high school we do not have those famous burgers and fries. For sure I cannot afford also to buy those things. I can remember this banana cue. We called this “ snacks ng bayan “. We really rushed in and fall in just to be entertained. It seems too attached with fun memories with my friends. We shared jokes and stories just to consume it. We chip in so that everybody can eat. We can say that it is most like during my time. I remember joining one reunion. And guessed what they served for snacks. Yes the famous banana cue. We see eye to eye and burst with laughter. We can never tell why? The fun memories we shared together.
One time we were lying down and thinking of what to eat for snacks. So I decided to cook some of it. I wanted my kids to enjoy eating it. Sure it didn’t make a hit. My husband and I enjoyed it. We were talking about our memories attached with banana cue. We close the stories as we finished eating it. I thought for a while I am only into eating banana cue when I was young. My husband also has shared memories.
